Artist: Sanjay Dnyaneshwar Kalbhor

Born in Pune, Maharashtra in 1974, Sanjay Kalbhor has more than 25 years of experience in modern and contemporary art. He has exhibited and sold his work at some of the top art galleries in India and to private collectors around the world.

Sanjay comes from a humble rural background and has watched the world around him change through modernisation. His work carries that change along with his deep-rooted connection with nature, geological patterns and botanical textures.

Academic qualification: ATD (1993). His paintings explore layered surfaces, textures, complexions and the emotional relationship between nature, memory and the modern world.
